Our client was undertaking the PACE programme to bring about significant benefits across all project work.
The company set out its clear goals regarding excellence and were keen to learn how best to apply this to delivering a programme of £25 billion worth of projects.
To achieve this, a new stage gate review process was introduced, supported by the necessary deliverable evidence at each stage. A wide range of information was needed, from various sources, described as 'Product Descriptions'.
The programme consisted of 4 'work-streams' and we delivered the Design and Engineering work-stream involving most of the Product Descriptions.
Best practice from other global organisations was identified and reviewed with a key objective being to improve the governance and control during the full investment lifecycle of projects.
