Testimonal Case Study 10

Health — People | London Hospital

A London hospital required an organisation wide review, to enable them to compete more successfully in their market.

Key to their business was the maintenance of clinical excellence achieved through a programme of staff training and development.

This involved planning to bring on the right skills mix, to match corporate objectives, competency, structures, responsibilities, training, morale and motivation.

The final outcome for the client was to achieve their Investors in People certification, ongoing investment in a programme of training and development for their staff and the kudos of achieving a nationally recognised quality credential.

IIP focuses on business objectives, giving them the competitive edge they needed to win market share.

The great value for us has been in achieving Investors in People accreditation and the added confidence this has given the public in our hospital. We now have systems and training in place to push our plans forward to improve clinical services and skills. This has greatly improved staff morale, impacting positively on problems of retention and recruitment.
