The Irish Government had received several major tenders to construct an underground metro system in Dublin.
This was a significant investment for Ireland and the transport committee required independent technical and financial advice on the tenders submitted.
Working with our partners in Dublin we provided advice and support to the Irish Government as they were going through their decision making process.
The work was complex and required experience of large, complex infrastructure transport projects carried out in cities.
In addition, a tight timescale for our review was required. Presentations were given and our assessment of the robustness of data, accuracy, completeness and recommendations for improvement were provided.
