Supporting a Major Metro Client by Providing Project Management Services Within a Significant Underground Railway Line Extension Project
The primary focus of Touchstone Renard’s role in this project was to establish ‘from scratch’ a 30 strong team of project engineers to tackle forthcoming rail projects. Our experienced consultant followed up the creation of this team by leading the delivery of several key projects for our client, within a best practice programme management framework.
One element of these subsequent projects was to address the critical issue of legislative and safety compliance of our client’s underground line extension project assets.
The assignment constituted a full time commitment for our consultant and included a restructuring of staffing roles within our client’s organisation.
Our involvement later increased, resulting in responsibility for around 60 of our client’s project engineering staff to ensure that all stakeholders’ interests were properly managed and met. Touchstone Renard was delighted to have been involved in this significant project.
