Providing Project Management Services to Develop a Systems Integration Function for a Major Metro Provider
The complexity of railway engineering projects requires a systems based approach if duplication and waste is to be avoided. On this assignment, our metro client engaged Touchstone Renard to project manage the development of a systems integration function within its organisation.
The definition of ‘a system’ in this context was ‘a combination of engineering assets with a defined purpose that draws upon integrated constituent parts — none of which, when taken alone, possesses the required overall characteristics or purpose’.
