Carrying out Project Diagnosis for the European Commission
Following a tendering exercise, Touchstone Renard was selected by the European Commission to carry out an independent management and technical audit of the organisation responsible for delivering all railway projects in Greece. The EU had just approved funding in excess of 7 billion Euros for a major operational programme across the country.
Touchstone Renard deployed a team of three specialist consultants who spent several weeks in and around Athens, carrying out the review in liaison with a range of Greek rail organisations and preparing a detailed report, with appendices, setting out their findings.
The final report was fully accepted by the European Commission and we were delighted to receive a much valued letter of thanks from our client.
