Background

Touchstone Renard provided rail project assurance and accreditation support to this highly complex, major UK £1.4 billion project, following its inception.

Touchstone Renard’s Role

Our role, over several years (2001-8) was to focus on safety, quality and environmental assurance for the rail transport elements. All rail assurance standards of the project and its supply chain had to be met to the satisfaction of above-ground and underground rail organisations.

Touchstone Renard provided a team of consultants to deliver assurance facilitation, advice and support, offering independent confidence to all key stakeholders that the project met all mandatory safety assurance standards.
