Phil Austin was delighted to be asked to speak at the Israel Railways International Conference held in Tel Aviv in December 2007. The theme of the conference, which was attended by 300 international delegates was "Future Rails – Railway Novelty, Regulation and Safety" and included other speakers from the UK, France, USA, India and Israel. The Indian Minister of State for Railways joined the event as did the Israeli Minister of Transport and Road Safety.
